# The widget gets Home, Help and News tabs

> Turn the chat widget into a messenger with a home screen, help articles and product news.

Not every visitor wants to start a conversation. The chat widget can now show tabs, so visitors can browse help and news without typing a word.

## What's new

- **Home tab:** a landing screen with your brand, a greeting, search and a shortcut back to the last conversation.
- **Help tab:** help articles grouped into sections, with search. Articles open right inside the widget.
- **News tab:** announcements and product updates as cards, each opening to the full post.
- **Conversation tab:** the chat you already know, now one tab among others.
- **Choose your tabs** and their order in the deployment's new **Modules** section. With a single chat tab, the widget looks just as before.
- **Works in every mode:** floating, inline, modal, drawer, standalone and the hosted page.

Visitors who'd rather read than ask now have somewhere to go, and the chat is always one tap away.
